UNCHANGING PRINCIPLES WINS GOLD FOR DOCUMENTARY (HISTORY) AT THE 5TH ANNUAL SIGNAL AWARDS
Josh Carter’s independently produced podcast explores American history from inside a presidential family.
ATLANTA, Oct. 20, 2026 – Unchanging Principles has won Gold in the Documentary (History) category in the Shows division of the 5th Annual Signal Awards. This year’s program honors podcasts that take creative risks: work that breaks format, takes on hard subjects, or finds a new way to reach listeners.
Unchanging Principles brings American history to life through Josh Carter’s stories about his grandparents, President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter, and the principles that shaped their lives.
“I am honored and overjoyed to receive a Gold Signal Award. I started my podcast to tell my family’s stories, but I quickly found a hunger for the vision and promise of America that my grandparents taught me. My podcast is me and a microphone, with my wife, Sarah, as my editor. To have that work recognized means so much to both of us,” said Josh Carter, host, writer, and producer of the Unchanging Principles podcast.
